I am thrilled to launch our Devonshire bra for DDD to J cup sizes! Now more sewists than ever can make make this lovely bra style. The Devonshire bra now joins our Marlborough bra and our Boylston bra sewing patterns in offering sizes ranging from 30A up to 40J. That is the 34H size pictured above!
As with all our extended size range patterns, the new size range is sold separately. Just select the DDD to J in the Size drop down box in the shop.
The DDD to J size range is separate from our standard size range because these larger cup sizes require important pattern changes to get the same styling, lift and shaping as the original pattern and are graded separately.
The key differences between the extended and the standard size range include using fabric instead of lace for the cups for extra stability, a higher center front bridge for secure containment of the breasts and wider fabric strap with a more robust attachment.

To make the sizes shown in gray, you just need to add to the band of the corresponding 40 band size. See the tutorial in this blog post.
